Todays music: Celine Dion: Falling into You

James' parents came for a visit last weekend. While they were here, James' dad helped him put in our new dishwasher! That's right folks, no more 2 week dish pile up at our house. Also, while they were here, the bathroom sink decided to back up and leak, so James got to replace some pipes in there. Glad that's fixed. That sink has been draining slow for a really long while now. Even Draino wouldn't help much.

James' mom got some work done while she was here. I didn't get any done, but played our new Diplomacy game. We bought it for James, but, well, you know how that goes sometimes. :)

I decided to just enjoy their company and not work, so I didn't. Getting back to work was hard. I didn't get back to work until Wednesday and even then it was 1 chapter. I did four today though and plan to do that much or more tomorrow.

We are heading south tomorrow. We haven't had Christmas with my sister yet, so we are heading there in the morning. I plan to take the trusty laptop and work in the car.

I've decided to do a major re-vamping of the ending of my novel. I want it to be longer and the ending is a bit weak. Plus, there's a character that gets killed off that I never really wanted killed off, but I was going with the story. After reading it through two times, I realized a better way that fits much better with the ten chapters or so leading up to the death. She doesn't have to die. Yeah! I love resurrecting chracters. Also, I'm toying with the possibility that the second book could be about her.

I've joined Diana's dare. I have five things that I'd like to do in that dare:

1. Keep up with exercising three to four days a week.
2. Eat less (and okay, I could cut out more sugar and eat healthier) and only when I'm hungry.
3. Lose the weight that I gained over the holidays (I gained 20 lbs! I'm so ashamed!)
4. Keep up with my daily Bible reading.
5. Finish editing my novel and complete the dare that I'm in with it.

I'll post how I'm doing whenever I post here, as usual. This week, so far, we've worked out twice. We're planning to early in the morning, IF I can get up. :)

So, I'm off to put these bones to bed. TTFN!
