The re-write of DR is finished today. It's just a hair under 2000 words. I'm pleased with this re-write. It's much better. I'll likely look it over in the next two days, while on the road, let James hear it and give me his opinions, then I should be getting requests from the crit group to read it.

I'm excited and eager to send this one out. I've decided that if it doesn't fly with the publication I mentioned the other day, then I'll send it in the next WotF contest. This year I've decided that I'm going to enter a story in each compitition this year. It's time I started sending stuff out again.

We got Z's doghouse set up yesterday, just in time for a rain storm. He was scared of it though, and wouldn't get in. We put his food and water in there, so he'll have to get in there sometime. It looks like he did spend some time in there during the storm.

Aaah! Today was the fourth time in the gym this week. James and I are both glad for the forced rest next week while we are traveling. It's so weird, one week it seemed so easy, then this week everything seems like a struggle. James did mention that sometimes, after about a month of working out, it seems like you hit a wall and things become difficult again. You just have to keep going and when you reach the other side, you'll be the better for it.

I am starting to see several benefits that I really like. My stomach is starting to have a tad bit of tightness to it, instead of just flab. The weight is slowly coming off, my clothes are starting to fit too. The best thing though, is that my ankle finally is gaining more flexibility to it. I can now sit on my feet, shoelaces to the floor. Before this was very uncomfortable and I couldn't even let the backs of my thighs touch my calves. Now, not only can I do that, but I can lean back, hands on my shoes and nearly touch my head to the floor behind me. I used to love doing that stretch to stretch muscles from my knee to my stomach. It feels so good to do it again.

When we get back, probably on Tuesday the 20th, well max out again. I'll post January's maxes and February's maxes, plus the weight I've lost.

I have Bluelight.com downloaded onto my laptop and I'll try to make posts here while I'm traveling. We'll leave tomorrow and since I won't be driving, I should be able to get work done tomorrow and Monday. Monday night we are planning to be back to Tulsa, so I can probably connect there. Tulsa's a big city, they're likely to have a local access number there. I'm hoping so anyway.

Now, time to get ready for dinner. We're going out for Valentine's tonight!

TTFN!
