  October 24, 2000:

Todays music: Star Wars Episode IV soundtrack

I had an extremely busy weekend. Honestly, it was not so busy that I couldn't do any writing, but I didn't do anything. Today I wrote 2178 words to make up for my two missed days. Actually I still have a bit to make up, but I'll work a bit more tomorrow.

Still doing househunting stuff for mom. We found a great mobile home for $28,000. It's new and has plush carpet, hardwood floors in the kitchen, a fireplace and a garden tub. Very nice. I hope she gets that one. If she does, I'm going to spend time in that tub! :)

Also yesterday we went all over town checking prices on all sorts of things. We are looking at putting a dishwasher in and also we would like a stand up freezer and a digital camcorder. So, we went all over Meridian yesterday looking for those things, plus checking on houses for mom.

I was interupted by a phone call from a friend (Hi, Alicia!), so this page didn't get put up on this date, it's retro-posted. Also, I took these pics today (the 25th) and decided to change it here. Isn't my rose bush gorgeous? There's about 12 blooms and 5 buds on it!
