  August 10, 2000:

August 5th's and 7th's entries were retro-posted. I did them on that day, but never uploaded them.

More heat and we are getting a lot of thunderstorms in the evenings. I thought I heard thunder a couple of times just a few minutes ago, so I'm trying to hurry and finish this and post it.

I'm hoping to finish reading King's book today. Really good. The only thing I don't like about it is the way he skips around. Like he'll tell you that someone does escape from prison, before he's even in prison! It's annoying, yet intriguing at the same time because you wonder HOW he escapes.

I'm also up to chapter 12 on Jonathan Fesmire's novel. I think it's very good and if you like reading fantasy, you should check out this novel. Jonathan has created a fantasy human character that is really cul.

::Sigh:: I'm really missing working. I can't wait until we get back from two weeks in Nebraska. School starts here next week, which means when we get back, my babysitting drops down from 10 hrs a day to about 2 or 3. I'll have more time for things! I hope that doesn't mean I'll be spending a lot of time loafing or reading or watching TV.

I need to set some goals. I seem to do better when I set goals, set a time to the goals and write them down. I need to start thinking about that some.

TTFN!
