  August 3, 2000:

Well, I discovered that for some reason, I cannot use AceExpert to edit web pages while my notebook is on battery power. Every time I did something major (like save or refresh the page to see the actual web page, instead of code) it would lock up. Grr! At least I can still work in Word.

I finished Killobyte. Great book and a must read for Anthony fans, or just plain F/SF fans.

Whew! It's tough work getting ready for a yard sale! I didn't think we had enough stuff for a full yard sale of our own, but it turns out we have plenty of stuff for two or three of them! The next two days are going to be long ones.

For some reason today, I find myself glancing a lot today at a picture on my desk. It's a picture I took myself at yellowstone of the Upper falls in the canyon there. Many people (including myself) have looked at the picture and thought it was a postcard. Not that it says anything about my photograpy ability, because I've noticed on nearly every waterfall picture taken by either James, myself or his parents, have turned out that way. It's not that difficult. Just center the waterfall and Viola! Instant great photo.

I should have that pic on a disk somewhere. I'll stick it on the left here for you all to enjoy. TTFN!
