I've been checking out ebooks. They are actually a cul thing. I just bought two books and within 10 minutes I was able to download both books.

An internet writing mentor of mine, Jonathan Fesmire, has two books published at Crossroads Publishing. He has published Children of Rhatlan(a novel) and Seeds of Vision(an anthology of Fantasy stories).

Now that I have my new notebook, I can curl up on the couch with it, cordless, for almost two hours of battery life.

I am bummed though. I went and signed up at Bookface.com to read some of Erin's stuff and found only a snippet of her novel, The Poison Taster, and no way to read the full thing! I'll have to e-mail her and find out how to get it all, unless she beats me to it and reads it here first. :)

Our garage sale is over. We haven't officially counted yet, but I think we made nearly $150. We'll see once we count it all up.

The heat here is bad! It got up to 99 today! Hope the weather is fair where you are! TTFN!
