  August 7, 2000:

I'm very disappointed. I bought the $10 Wal-mart version of Tomb Raider II, a game I've been wanting for a while now. It's only a stinkin' demo! GRR! It didn't say anything about it being a demo, but that it had several other demos on it. One of which was Final Fantasy 7 demo. For some reason it won't work on my 'puter. Major bummer! Now I'll sometime have to put out even more $$ for the real games, IF I want them. I couldn't figure out the 'secrets' that it says you should find.

I'm babysitting a lot all this week. That means one bad thing: not much time for anything else including writing. Bummer.

I've been finding some time to read though. I'm working on finishing the Stephen King novel. I'm also trying to read Jonathan Fesmires novel when I get time.

Also when I get time, we've been playing Laser Challenge. I've always wanted Laser Tag (or something similar) when I was a kid. We found this one at Wal-mart for $19. We bought two sets since right now there are three of us and one set only has two guns and two vests. I'm hoping we'll play again soon. I'm not very good though, I was usually the first to die in every game we played. :(

Oh, I wanted to give you an update on how I'm doing losing weight. I've lost 10 lbs. now (15 total, but 10 since I set a goal of 40 lbs. by Christmas). I should make my goal, but it's gonna be tough.

I know this is a bit of old news, but Congrats to Chiara on the new baby! The pictures on her website are so cute! TTFN!
